Railroad Museum

Located in Wolam-dong, the Railroad Museum is one of the most representative museums in the Metropolitan area, and opened its doors to public on January, 26, 1988 as a real life educational facility that offers at a glance the long line of railroad history.
The main hall is comprised of the Railroad History Room, the Train Car Room, Electricity, Signs and Communication Rooms, A Railroad Maintenance Room and the Transportation and Conductor Rooms, where about 4000 various items are exhibited. The entire history of the South Korean railroad system can be witnessed through the World Railroad Room, the Train Conducting Experience Room, the Model Train Panorama Room and the Visual Room.
